Righty, so we scoured the IMDB 250 movies list. This is a good way of finding reputable movies.
However, not many movies start with ‘E’. So we ended up with ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind‘, and ‘Ed Wood‘.
Eternal Sunshine was not what we expected. It’s not a comedy, and it’s an odd romance movie. Good… but weird. Some kind of story about how some things are meant to be or something… I think.
Ed Wood was just plain old fashioned odd. I’ve tried to watch Plan 9, and it’s so bad I couldn’t last more than 10 minutes. Ed Wood uses many of the bits from that movie in this, which is nice, but it’s a very unusual story about a very unusual guy. Which I suppose is half the point.
So Eternal Sunshine gets 3.5 stars out of 5, and Ed Wood gets 3.
