If anyone has a 2002 Le Sol kicking around, I would highly recommend you DRINK IT NOW. For such a bruiser of a wine, it was definitely on its way out.
It still smelt great on the nose, and had an ok tail, but the body we were expecting was missing. It was still a good wine, but not a great one anymore, especially for the price.
The 2005 on the other hand is simply marvellous. If you have the opportunity to try one, take it! You won’t be disappointed.
Also, Riedel Sommellier glasses are pretty spectacular. Extremely fragile looking, but they add so much to an already great meal.
