With the release of the iPhone 4s and Siri, I predict that the ‘ask the phone’ method of searching will mark a context shift for how people retrieve data. This will move people away from the traditional Google (or Bing etc) based approach.
This means that websites will need to find a way of being the authoritative source for data, and to present summaries and metadata in a way that the Siri-esque services can retrieve. This will be completely different to being #1 on Google requests.
