Our ‘L’ meal presented us with a bunch of options.

‘Lamb’, ‘Lasagne’… ‘Lamb’… so after much thought, we went with ‘Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction‘.

This was a delicious meal.  We used lamb rump instead of lamb chops so we’d get a bigger meal.  We also served it with potato and mixed vegetables.

We also jazzed it up a bit by frying some pear slices and then (after the lamb was fried) grilling the lamb with the pear on top, under a slice of brie cheese.

The balsamic reduction was really, really nice. We used top shelf balsamic vinegar – Mazzetti 4 leaf.

We’ll be having this again…. 4.5 noms out of 5.
