I had never had Nasi Goreng before, but Hilary was a big fan of it, so we thought it would make a suitable ‘N’ meal. We used this recipe.

It turns out that Nasi Goreng is just spicy fried rice with meat in it.

We didn’t use prawns or the terasi, and we chucked in schnitzel and chicken for the meat.  I avoided the egg, but Hilary had a crack at it.

The end result was… interesting. I thought it was quite nice, but Hilary’s egg was overdone and she didn’t rate the meal particularly well.

I’d give this 3 noms out of 5.
